Test gear before you go

I bought a pair of flip flops before we left. The bottoms were made from yoga mats, so I thought they would be really comfortable. They are. What I did not consider is that they were made from used yoga mats, so they really had to clean the mats well. So well, in fact, that they still soap up every time they touch water.

It's rained a lot here. I flop around campgrounds with a trail of soap in my wake. Even 3 weeks later.
